Warranty

Roof Top Tent Warranty

If you ever experience an issue with one of our products, please fill out the Warranty Form at the bottom of the page. We'll do our best to solve the problem as soon as possible. Due to the complexities of some warranty issues and claims, it can take up to 10 business days for us to reply.

2 Year Limited Warranty

For 2 years from the date of purchase from an authorised dealer, iKamper will replace (at our discretion) defective parts at no cost to the customer. iKamper will provide replacement parts, but the customer will be responsible for installation and depending on the claim review, in some cases, delivery fees.

This warranty applies only to customers who purchased directly from iKamperAustralia.com or an authorised dealer and does not cover second-hand purchases. If you purchased from an authorised dealer, please submit proof of purchase with any warranty claims.

Products sold by iKamper that are not iKamper branded are warrantied by their respective manufacturer. “Garage Sale” tents (only available in our Melbourne, VIC location) are sold with our 2 Year Limited Warranty, but will not include a warranty on certain parts that will be noted at the time of purchase.

Our warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below:

  • UV damage: ultra-violet damage to fabric or gel coat.

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes occurring as a result of use (vinyl window discolouration or damage, scratches/dents on the rooftop tent shell, etc.)

  • Damage caused by the customer (misuse, accident, abuse, etc.)

  • Damage caused by acts of nature (storm and wind damage, fire, smoke, flood, moisture, wildlife etc.)

  • Aesthetic changes that do not affect the general operation of the rooftop tent.

  • If the product is arbitrarily repaired or modified by the customer (including but not limited to adhesives, drilling, etc)

Kitchen Systems, Sleep Systems, & Roof Top Tent Accessories Warranty

1 Year Limited Warranty

For 1 year from the date of purchase, iKamper will replace (at our discretion) defective parts or products at no cost to the customer.

Our warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below:

  • Ultra-violet (UV) damage to fabric or paint.

  • Normal wear and tear, or cosmetic blemishes occurring as a result of use.

  • Damage caused by the customer (misuse, accident, abuse, etc.)

  • Damage caused by acts of nature (storm damage,wind damage, etc.)

  • Aesthetic changes that do not affect the general operation of the product.

 

This warranty applies only to customers who purchased directly from iKamperAustralia.com or an authorised dealer (authorised under new distributor, ROOZE PTY LTD from 1 January 2026) and does not cover second-hand purchases. If you purchased from an authorised dealer, please submit proof of purchase with any warranty claims.

I bought my RTT/product second hand

We receive a lot of queries about second hand tents - here are some frequently asked questions:

Is my tent covered under warranty?

No - second hand purchases are not covered under warranty.

Which product/generation is mine?

The nomenclature for iKamper products holds the biggest clue, but in a few cases there can be some subtle changes within a generation of rooftop tent that can determine compatibility for parts (a common one is the fly in the 2.0 generation Skycamp). Here's the breakdown using an example: iKamper Skycamp 3.0 Mini

  1. iKamper (brand)

  2. Skycamp (series/style of tent)

  3. 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, DLX (generation or trim of release)

  4. "Mini" will refer to the smaller version in the same series

What should I be conscious of when buying a used tent?

Besides the warranty - as mentioned above - ensure you factor in the price of refreshing any components you may need. The products are designed to last for many years, but the use, care and maintenance can affect this. For Skycamp products, ensure you receive the keys for the locking latches, but know these are available to buy as well - photos of both locking barrels (codes) will be needed to determine a match.
